1. When is it?

January 1st – 5th, 2012.

2. How much does it cost?

$245, but save $30 if you register and pay your deposit by December 1st!
Online registration closes at midnight on December 27th. After that you must register on-site. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. We cannot guarantee or hold a spot for you if you have not paid your deposit.

3. What if I want to commute or just come for one day?

The commuter fee is $175 for the entire conference. Day passes are available for $45 per day.

4. What about roommates?

Each room sleeps four students, and you choose your roommates. However you will not receive your room key until all four of you have arrived and paid in full. You will receive your rooming assignment and room key during on-site registration at the hotel on January 1st, 2012. If you have further questions about roommates, ask someone from the Street Team on your campus. If you have a special accommodation question, contact us.

5. How do I get a scholarship?

Each Cru movement offers scholarships for students from their campus. Ask your local Cru staff or ministry leader for details. If you have already done the above and still have further need, please contact us. Our desire is to help with scholarships as they are needed, to the extent that we are able.

6. Where is it at?

Omni Fort Worth Hotel
1300 Houston Street
Fort Worth, Texas 76102

7. How do I get there?

The Omni Fort Worth Hotel is located in Sundance Square in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. There are many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, or you can ride around the Square on Molly the Trolley.

View in Google Maps.

8. When should I arrive?

On-site registration and check-in are from 2:30-5pm on January 1st, 2012.

9. Where do I park?

The only way to park at the hotel is by valet parking, which is available at a greatly reduced rate of $5 per day. If you plan to park at the hotel, the most convenient way to pay will be to bring $25 in cash. There are also a few parking lots in Sundance Square where you can park for free after 5pm and on the weekends, as noted by the purple areas in this image.

10. What’s on the schedule?

You can view a tentative schedule here, and to get an idea of what goes on at Winter Conference as a whole, check out the About page.
You can also go mobile while at the conference with our Guidebook. Just download the app and search for “Convinced: Winter Conference 2012.”

11. What should I bring?

Friends, Bible, notebook, money for meals, casual attire, and attitude of expectancy that God will work!

12. I want to get involved!

The Street Team and the Underground are made up of students from your campuses who help in shaping, recruiting for and running the conference.

  • Street Team – Sharing with other students from your campus how God uses Winter Conference to change lives and inviting others to be a part of it with you.
  • Underground – Actively using your God-given skills and gifts in a specific area to make the conference happen.

Check out the video these teams made last year, and let us know if you’re interested in being a part of the Street Team or the Underground!

13. I still have questions!

Ask your campus Cru staff or Street Team, or contact us.
